Melinda Sesto’s practice focuses on commercial finance, real estate finance, intercreditor arrangements, letter of credit reimbursement agreements, negotiation of guarantees, servicing agreements, loan workouts, real property acquisitions/dispositions, and general contract negotiations. Ms. Sesto has worked with the Alliance for Children’s Rights representing pro bono clients in guardianship adoption cases, is a former pro bono panel attorney for the Aids Legal Referral Panel, a past member serving on the City of Sausalito Historic Landmarks Board and previously served on the Board of Directors of Legal Assistance for Seniors in Oakland. She has lectured on, and written about, title insurance coverage, trusts as borrowers and guarantors, and creditors’ rights issues.
In addition to her law firm experience, her background includes negotiating and analyzing complex insurance claims, and creating, developing and promoting large-scale music and micro-brewery festivals.
